Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

This Plaque commemorates those who died when Control of Anson N9790, on a Navigation Training Flight, was lost in a hail-storm, and icing caused it to fly into the ground at Abberley, on 25th November 1943. The aircraft belonged to 6(O)AFU, based at Moreton Valence, Gloucestershire.
