In loving memory of Francis H Tremlett Joscelyne Captain 8th Bn. Som. Lt. Infy. who fell in the battle of the Somme 16th Nov. 1916 Aged 31. And of Kennett Arthur Joscelyne 2nd Lieut. 5th Bn. R Berks. Regt. who fought at Ctesephon and at Kut. Killed at Arras 26th June 1917. Aged 26. The two sons of Mr & Mrs H.M. Joscelyne. Also of Lawrence Arthur Joscelyne 2nd Lieut. 7th Bn. Som. Lt. Infy. only son of Dr & Mrs Arthur Joscelyne of this town. He fought at Lancemarck and was killed at Poperinche 1st Oct. 1917. Aged 19. 'Victor He rose, victorious too shall rise they who have drunk His cup of Sacrifice'.
