About the memorial: The memorial was outside the main church doors and commemorates the men of White Road who fell during WW2. At the time of the visit the church had closed down and as can be seen in the picture the Tablet defaced with Graffiti. In 2007 the church was demolished and the location of the tablet is now unknown.
