About the memorial: MAGNIFICENT SINGLE LIGHT WINDOW, AS BELOW WINDOW DEPICTS CAPT GOLDIE-TAUBMAN AS A MEDIAEVAL KNIGHT IN GOLDEN ARMOUR AND PURPLE CLOAK, HOLDING A SWORD POINT DOWNWARDS IN HIS RIGHT HAND. HE IS BEING CROWNED BY TWO ANGELS. (cIWM)Captain Goldie-Taubman was killed at Guloo in 1898. The memorial is recorded on the Isle of Man National Inventory of War Memorials ref: IOM_NIWM_BRA_00015.
