About the memorial: Garden of Remembrance situated in the churchyard against the surrounding wall. Terraced grassed areas with central stone steps lead up to a circular central paved area in which is a crucifix set in a concrete frame surround, at the top of which are inscribed the WW1/WW2 dates. On the rear wall of this inner circular area are triple panels for each war, listing the names and it is surmounted by a flagpole flying the Manx Flag. There is also a separate panel for an individual killed in Northern Ireland. The memorial was constructed in 1947. Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
