About the memorial: Three wooden plaques. The memorial is dedicated to the men of the parish of St. Peter's Hillfields who died in the First World War. The memorial was dedicated in December 1921. The church closed in 2001 and the plaques were removed but were re-erected in reception area of the St. Peter's Centre and re-dedicated in July 2015. The church itself is has been converted to residential accommodation. The first plaque bears the dedicatory inscription. The two larger plaques giving the names of those killed (see photos).
