To the glory of God in thankfulness for victory and in proud and loving memory of the men of this Parish who laid down their lives in the Great War 1914 - 1918. 'Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends'. Small plaque - This memorial commemorates the fallen of Cadley, Savernake 1914 - 1918.
