About the memorial: Wooden board with two metal plaques, with inscribed lettering. The first plaque is the memorial to the Goole Detachment of the 286TH H.A.A.BATTERY R.A., listing 10 men killed during the 2nd World War. The second plaque details its presentation, by the Detachment, to Goole Bartholomew Hospital. Goole Bartholomew Hospital was was located in Bartholomew Avenue, Goole, but was demolished in c.1994. After its demolition the Memorial board was moved to the new Goole and Distract. During refurbishment c.5 years ago the Memorial was removed from the wall of the hospital reception and put into storage. The current location of the memorial is unknown.
