About the memorial: A three light stained glass window set in a shallow pointed arch stone opening. The left light portrays a soldier in uniform holding a rifle and kneeling in the countryside. The centre light portrays Christ holding a crown in his left hand and his right hand raised in blessing. The right light portrays a medical officer kneeling with a church in the background. The tracery quatrefoils contain the crossed flags of the UK and England, and France and Belgium, with texts on ribbons. The smaller tracery edge panels contain flowers and foliage. (c IWM)
