About the memorial: In memory of Flying Officer Francizek SURMA of 308 (Polish) Squadron. RAF The memorial marks the area where fo SURMA landed by parachute after his spitfire ( R6644 ) aircraft crashed near by in May 1941. It is believed that he was later KIA near Dunkirk on 8 November 1941 and has no known grave. The IWM Register link refers to a memorial in Malvern Youth Centre. Wherther this is a mistake or a separate memorial is unknown.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
