About the memorial: A scupture of Barnes Wallis on a plinth overall height c. 4.5 metres. Wallis is looking out to sea roughly in the area where the testing of the bouncing bomb took place. The bomb was subsequently successfully used on the Dam Buster Raids in the Ruhr Valley.
