About the memorial: Two brass plaques together on a marble background. One commemorated two brothers on the left hand plaque, and one brother on the righ hand plaque The stained glass window above is also part of the memorial. The window depicts St. George and St. Oswald.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

( Right side) WALTER BASSET MORGAN/ 2nd Lieut. South Lancashire Regiment / killed in action on the Gallipoli Peninsula / Under CHUNUK BAIR on 10th August 1915 / Aged 22 Years . (Below) Eldest and youngest sons of Captain L.H.G Morgan West Somerset Yeomanry / Grandsons of the late Reverend Lewis Morgan of Woolcombe in this parish / Dulce et Decorum est pro Patri Mori. / This window was erected by the three sisters and / only surviving brother of the above officers march 1916(RIGHT HAND PLAQUE ) TO THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD/ in loving memory of / LEWIS MORGAN / Flight Lieut. Royal Navy / Killed while flying on duty at Chingford Essex / on 4th May 1917 Aged 24 years.
