‘Definition of a war memorial for funding purposes’.
As a conservation charity which gives grants War Memorials Trust can support repair and conservation works that follow best conservation practice. Grants are awarded from funds raised by the charity so money available is limited and is therefore focused on eligible war memorials.

In loving memory of our dear son William Palmer Spry who passed away 11 Feb.1938 aged 31years,our dear son Clifford Edward Spry died in action 12 July 1918 aged 21 years .In memory of my dear husband Stanley Spry who passed away 23 March 1942 aged 72 years .Also Ada Marian Spry died 5 October 1961 aged 91 years.
