About the memorial: A window of three lights in memory of three local men who lost their lives in the second Boer War. As Richard Fitzroy Somerset died on 2 March 1899 and the Second Boer War did not start until 11 October 1899, his fever must have been contracted in another conflict, and he died in England.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
