About the memorial: Once known as the Chapel of St Catherine and St Nicholas, it was restored in 1948 in memory of those who lost their lives in the Second World War. It is part of the original structure of the church and was re-dedicated. Inside there are normal chapel fittings, book of remembrance (see separate item), Roll of Honour (separate item),lectern in memory of HMS Newfoundland which was adopted by the people of Wolverhampton - not a war memorial, flag from Wton and District Normandy Veterans Association, National Service Memorial plaque honouring all conscripts.
