About the memorial: The memorial commemorates men of the parish who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars. It is a Latin cross made from sandstone, standing on an octagonal three-tiered base. It is in a very prominent position overlooking the Church wall; visibility and access are both very good. A carved design of foliage adorns the top of the plinth and the inscriptions and names are clearly legible. The fallen from WW1 are commemorated on the octagonal plinth; those from WW2 are remembered on the bottom plinth. Very good condition.
