In loving memory of Lieutenant Leslie Wingfield Sweet-Escott, 5th Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, youngest son of Sir Bickham Escott K.C.M.G. Governor of Fiji and High Commissioner for the West Pacific, and of Mary his wife, born 3rd October 1893. Killed 25th September 1915 at Bellewarde Farm, France, whilst leading a bombing party. Malachi 3rd Ch. 17th V 'They shall be mine in that day when I make up my jewels'.
