About the memorial: Three-tiered plinth surmounted by a Latin Cross, all in white marble; the cross is decorated with a carved representation of a sword attached to a Sam Browne belt and a peaked cap with Wiltshire Regiment badge. The main inscription is on the stepped-base of the cross, which also includes a carved representation of a Wiltshire Regiment badge. The cross seems to be a family memorial for captain Harold Frank Barclay Turner, 1st Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. At the base of the cross is a scroll-shaped tablet with additional names. The cross and tablet all stand on boulders and are enclosed by a low wrought-iron fence with the fleur-de-lys at each corner, and a Wiltshire Regiment badge on the front bar.
