About the memorial: Standing in the churchyard, to the south of the church.A rough hewn wheel cross in granite, the face engraved in relief with a down-pointing sword, sitting on a rough hewn square plinth, the front face bearing the names of 16 men of the parish who fell in WW1. Below is polished granite tablet bearing the names of 3 men who fell in WW2. The names are arranged in surname alphabetical order, with first names, but no rank or unit. The whole sits upon a square stone pavement, flanked by concrete corner posts and a metal bar rail.
