About the memorial: The Church Organ was given to the church by the Rt, Hon. Lord Austin Of Longbridge In Remembrance of his son Vernon James Austin killed in action in 1915. The Austin's owned the Austin Motor Works based in Longbridge Birmingham. There is a plate on the side of the organ keys.
