About the memorial: Four-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth, square sectioned tapering pillar, square capital & wheel cross. Incised slate inscription tablet on each of plinth faces. The whole memorial is bordered by a small garden & a metal, single-railing fence with eight posts.
