About the memorial: Two memorials. The timber memorial probably lists members of Rhyl Grammar School that fell in WW1, plus LCpl Michael Taylor of the Royal Marines (2010 - Afghanistan) and Paul Green of the Welsh Guards (1982 - Falklands). The brass memorial records members of RGS that fell in WW2. The memorials were originally sited in the RGS "School Hall" and moved to the Rhyl High School "6th Form Centre" which was built on the site of the "Old Building" abutting onto Grange Road. Photos were taken in May 2015 and since then the 6th form building has been demolished. As of November 2016, the plaques are in storage and will be put back on the walls of the new school in 2017.
