About the memorial: An oaken board in the style of a triptych, though with fixed, rather than hinged, volets supported on brackets. The central panel has a moulded frame in the style of a gothic window, with a finial at the top and tracery in the head. Within the frame the gilded panel bears a black painted inscription in upright capital lettering with selected rubricated initials. The volets are slightly smaller and lack the finial, terminating in a cusp instead, and bear the names painted in black upright capital lettering. The memorial is on the eastern column of the north arcade. Below the memorial are photographs relating to H D Heintz. According to CWGC Horace Heintz was born at Buxton but was later of Bromsgrove, although he does not currently appear to be commemorated there.
