About the memorial: Slanting desk with hinged glass covering a space holding the Book of Remembrance to Council Employees (in date order with book pages turned every week) with wooden triptych on top containing a glass panel on each wing with the information on the left to Sephton and the right to Elcock. There are 2 glass panels in the centre back each containing a framed information panel. Left panel Petty Officer Alfred Edward Sephton V C R N with photograph, medals and a small plaque and right for Roland Edward Elcock V C, photo, 11th Brigade Royal Scots badge, medals then a Staffs Regiment badge (he had enlisted but was discharged as underage signing up a second time with the Scottish Regiment.)
