About the memorial: Two plaques below the window with the names of those killed in the First World War. Two enamel shields of the coats of arms of Selby and See of York impaling (Lang?). The window is a four light window and is filled by 2 rows of scenes, 8 in all plus other scenes and figures in the 10 sections of the upper tracery.
