In Memory of Capt. Richard Elston Kirby. Royal Garrison Artillery. Accidentally killed on active service 1st June 1918. Aged 23. This memorial is erected by his brother officers of the Headquarters Heavy Artillery XXII Corps B.E.F. as a mark of respect for his sterling character and unfailing good fellowship
