Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

ALMARIC BRUCE WILSON, 2nd Lieut. 15/19 The King's Royal Hussars, Commanding No,1 Troop. A. Squadron, killed in action at S.Hendrikus Hoeve, south of Veulen in North Limburg, Holland, 19 October 1944. Aged 19 years 10 month. Buried S. of Ijselstein, and afterwards at Venray. EDWARD LESLIE LAISHLEY, Gunner, Field Artillery, The Royal Regiment of Artillery, killed in action at Tebourba, Tunisia, North Africa, 27 November 1942. Aged 19 years. Buried near Tebourba. CHARLES ARTHUR SMITH, Guardsman, The Scots Guards killed in action north of Nijmegen, Holland, 23 September 1944. Aged 31 years. Buried near Doornik and afterwards at Jonkers Bosch, Nijmegan. EDWIN CHARLES COFFIN, Private, 4th Battn. The Wiltshire Regiment, died 2 July 1944 of wounds received in action aged 38 years. Buried at Secqueville, France.
