About the memorial: A wall mounted white marble tablet on a wooden backboard. The tablet has a shallow pointed arch top with chamfered edges and a small formy cross at the head. The incised gilded inscription is in mainly upright mixed case gothic lettering. The backboard has concave moulded edges
