About the memorial: WOODEN CABINET WITH METAL GRILLE DOORS THAT OPEN TO REVEAL A SCENE IN RELIEF SHOWING BATTLEFLEET AT SEA WITH CHRIST ON THE CROSS IN TOP PART. WHOLE CARVED IN WOOD. ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CABINET ARE TWO BRASS PLAQUES LISTING NAVAL GUNNERS (ALL RANKS) KILLED IN WW1. ON TOP PART OF CABINET, CENTRED ON MAIN INSCRIPTION, IS ROUNDEL WITH PORTRAIT HEAD OF JELLICOE IN SILHOUETTE.
