On the brass plaque "This altar and footpace are a memorial of those parishoners who fell in the Great WAr 1914 - 1918 R.I.P." On the column "To commemorate with honour those from this parish who gave their lives for their King and country in the Great War." Below this the list of names is badly compromised by flaking paint and the bottom text is illegible The wooden painted panel on the wall "To commemorate with honour those from this parish who gave their lives for their country. 1914-1918" 83 names are listed 1939-1945 16 names are listed "We will remember them Re-newed in remembrance fifty years after the end of World War II Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget - lest we forget."
