About the memorial: Details on the photographs of the stone tablets. The chapel was established by the mother of Lt Cross. It is an undercroft on the south side of the Choir - turn right from the main South Porch entrance. On a pillar to the left of the entrance of the chapel there is a tablet commemorating Lt Cross, and on a wall to the right a tablet commemorating his mother. Set into the south wall of the chapel is a stone facsimile of Lt Cross' Battlefield Cross. The lighting of the chapel is a separate memorial with its own entry. The IWM gives a separate entry for the battlefield cross.
