About the memorial: Two tablets mounted on large dressed rock near scene of the aircraft crash that killed the two crew. Memorial to crew of Tornado G.R. Mk.1A ZG708 of No.13 Squadron, RAF, crashed near Killin on the 1st September 1994. Car park across A85 from former Glenoglehead Railway Station. Rob Roy Way runs from rear of car park and memorial is a short distance down the path. Although recorded as a Non-combat death, this memorial may not be regarded as a war memorial by the WMT as the crew did not die in combat.
