About the memorial: Single-stepped square base incorporating a slightly bevelled top face, supporting a square sectioned lower plinth surmounted by an upper square sectioned tapering plinth, rectangular sectioned tapering shaft with integral wheel cross. Knotwork designs on front face of shaft and wheel cross. Pinned-lead lettering forms the inscription on front face of upper plinth with names on the other three upper faces.
