About the memorial: Standing at the east end of the green. A solid granite wheel cross upon a rough-hewn column, the front face emblazoned with an upturned sword in relief, upon a square plinth, with a flat face bearing the names. The whole sitting on a square granite base within a gravel square surrounded by a metal fence.
