About the memorial: Grimston War Memorial is a stone monument set in the south-west corner of St Botolph's Churchyard. It comprises a solid wheel cross, upon a slender, octagonal column, atop an octagonal plinth, the eight panels of which commemorate the fallen of WW1 and WW2. The whole sits upon upon a three-tiered octagonal base.
