About the memorial: this is a handwritten memorial with an inscription on the top with names written below. It is behind glass set in a pale board surround then inserted into a wooden frame. It is situated on the same wall as other war memorials. In addition, on the outside wall of the premises of H C Pullinger and Son, 30 Union Street, Tipton DY4 8QJ, there is a blue plaque erected by Tipton Civic Society to commemorate the site of the crater caused during the raid.
