About the memorial: The memorial is a framed illuminated sheet hung in the north aisle of the church opposite the entrance door. It is one of two illuminated sheets in the church, There is also a seperate memorial chapel. The sheet has 3 picturs at the top, a battleship, a soldier in battledress being crowned with a laurel wreath by Britannia and a tank moving through the battlefield. The same names as on the Village War Memorial Cross.
