About the memorial: The memorial is a chapel which has been created on the south side of the church. There are two stained glass windows each of 2 lights and wooden wall panelling on which are carved the names of those who died. Presumably the altar and other fittings were also part of the original creation. The eastern window shows the Annunciation with the angel in the north light and Mary in the south light. The southern window has Saint George in the left hand light and St Nicholas holding a ship in the right hand light. The inscribed panel is to the right of the south wall window.
