About the memorial: The memorial is a stone wheel cross on a tapered stone column, octagonal pedestal and a three stepped octagonal base bearing the names of the fallen.It was erected in honour of the seventeen men of Great Haseley Parish who were killed in the Great War (1914- 18). The memorial was dedicated by Canon W. Gilbert Edwards, Rector of St. Peter's Church Great Haseley, in November 1920. Two more names were added in 1945 (World War II 1939-45)) and a further name in 2008 (Afghanistan 2001-2014).
