To the glory of God and in loving memory of Lieutenant Commander George Campbell Street, Royal Navy, who was killed in action on board HMS Queen Mary at the battle of Jutland 31 May 1916 aged 32 years. He was the dearly loved husband of Aline Talbot Street, second son of Henry William and Barbara Street and grandson of Henry Street Esq, late of Birtley in this parish.
