(For?) the lasting honour of the men of this parish who went forth to serve in His Majesty's Forces, and gave their lives for teh defence of the realm, and defeta of the King's enemies. (names in 2 columns) These nobly played their parts, these heard the call, for God and King and Home, they gave their all.
