Sacred to the memory of Elenor Manning daughter of the revd. John and Betty Eversfield married firstly to Richard Thorn of Exeter in the county of Devon, secondly to John Glanville Manning of Heavitree in the said county. Born July 1763 died 20th November 1829. Also the following children John Eversfield Manning, son of the above Ensign of the Dorset Militia, born 3rd October 1799 died 27th June 1828. Elenor Manning born 20th March 1801 died 1st April 1830. Elizabeth Eversfield Manning born 30th May 1797 died 28th August 1852. This tablet was erected by Major General Nathaniel Thorn, C.B. and K.H., as a mournful tribute of respect and regard for his deceased relatives.
