About the memorial: The memorial is a framed glass photograph hanging on the west wall of the meeting room created under the tower at the west end of the church. The memorial appears to have been renewed at some time and it is not clear whether the photograph is original. The lettering in the frame is certainly modern being computer printed. However the label on the back, which has the similar handwritten text as in the frame, appears to be original.
