About the memorial: Within the church on the left hand (north) wall of the nave. A stone tablet, with carded border and domed pediment, the centre with a cross and the initials IHS, commemorating the names of those who died in WW1.

We pray you to remember in the Lord, the men of this place, who gave their lives for King & Country in the Great War 1914-1918 (names) Rest Eternal grant unto them O Lord & may Light perpetual shine upon them. Friends caused this tablet to be set up in thankful memory of their sacrifice.
