About the memorial: Situated on a grass triangle where the road divides and planted with hedges and suburbs and trees. Maintained by local man very well. This war memorial has a stepped base and cross in stone. Four-stepped, chamfer-edged, octagonal base surmounted by an octagonal sectioned plinth with moulded top edges, eight-sided parallel column & cross. Incised inscription on sides of plinth. The whole memorial is surrounded by a small border garden, located on a grassed peninsula area adjacent to a forked road junction.
