About the memorial: A low drystone wall curved around a paved area, with two benches with brass dedication plaques, fronted by a V shaped stone marking. At the centre point of the paved area there is a small, granite plaque, with a gold cross top left, remembering those who served in WW2. In addition there is a small black plaque on either side with the Malayan Volunteer Force insignia.. Surrounding the plot are Birch Trees & Bamboos from the Malayan area. There are other tablets commemorating Malayan Volunters Group, Australians who served with the MVF, Western Australian hospitality for evacuees in WW2. Dedicated in 2007
