SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF ARTHUR LESLIE GRESSON CAPTAIN ROYAL NAVY, BORN MAY 17 1879 - DIED JUNE 1 1931 ABOVE HIM STOOD ONE FIGURE WITH ........? SACRED ALSO TO THE MEMORY OF HIS SON JOHN JARDINE GRESSON, LIEUTENANT, ROYAL NAVY, KILLED IN ACTION JANY 23RD 1944. AGED 23 YEARS. 'SO HE PASSED OVER AND THE TRUMPETS SOUNDED FOR HIM ON THE OTHER SIDE.'
