About the memorial:
Bronze memorial plaques designed by Eric Parry Architects dedicated to those who lost their lives from the London Stock Exchange in the Boer War, First World War and Second World War.
The memorial replaced the original memorial which was previously located in Throgmorton Street. Owing to the size and condition of the war memorial it was not possible to install this in the new LSE building. Following discussions, WMT agreed that a new memorial could be constructed to replace this. The memorial includes a bronze wreath from the original memorial.
