About the memorial: Paper roll of honour printed in full colour in a glass and timber frame. Originally located in the CWS Factory, Lowestoft, it was moved to the museum when the factory was demolished. A copy of this roll would have been sent to all six of the C&E Morton factories / offices- the Head Office in the City of London, the 2 London works at Millwall & Cubitt Town, and their other works at Aberdeen, Lowestoft & Mevagissey. Overall 576 men are named of whom 78 made the supreme sacrifice

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
