To The Glory of God - this tablet was erected by the members of Unity Church and Sunday School to commemorate the services of members and scholars who devoted themselves to their country's cause and to honour the 126 young men who went to serve in her forces in the great war August 4th 1914 to June 28th 1919 and in affectionate and reverent memory of the following who laid down their lives in the sacred cause of human liberty. Great love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

The names can be read on the attached photograph.
